Upon its release in the summer of 2005, the Enge EP quietly made a name for Benoît Pioulard (born Thomas Meluch) in the indie underground and caught the ear of Chicago’s esteemed Kranky, who have since issued his acclaimed full- length Précis (2006) and will be releasing its follow-up in fall 2008.
Now out of print, Enge was originally pressed in a hand-numbered edition
of 300 copies on clear 7” vinyl. By popular demand, Moodgadget is proud to present a remastered digital edition of the EP complete with an exclusive track and three stunning remixes by Small Sails (Portland, OR), Praveen (New York, NY) and Viul (Washington, DC).
We found Joe Lapaglia through our mutual friend Reid Dunn(Wisp, Pwca, Entsounds) they make music under the name Silver Morning. We’re really excited for this EP its dusty feeling without being lo-fi, it has its rough edge while it showing emotion, and once your settled in he sets the perfect tone in each track to make you wanna go back to dig thru some of your dad’s old records after the EP finishes.

After Warez released his head nodding R+B/glitch debut EP, “Dance”, he headed back into the studio to give us more of what the electronic genre needs. “Sound” is jam-packed full of soul and lush R+B elements made complete by Warez’s signature arrangements.
There are noticeable hints of Royksopp, Outputmessage, Prefuse 73, Telepopmusik, Burial, Daedelus, Bjork and Morcheeba in Warez’s melodies and style all through this satisfying release.
Look for a his single off Sound ”I’ll Take You There” with remixes out on Moodgadget Records later this fall.

Summer, 2008. Moodgadget and Ghostly International team up to bring you The Synchronicity Suite, the exhilarating sequel to 2006’s blockbuster compilation, The Rorschach Suite, that is unlike anything you’ve ever heard before. iTunes gave Rorschach a veritable two thumbs up, cementing its place in the top 15 electronic albums of 2006, with two consecutive artist spotlights, and one of the year’s top electronic songs, Mux Mool’s, Lost and Found.
Since that fateful year, Mux Mool and fellow Moodgadget musicians, The Reflecting Skin and JDSY have starred in, Ghostly Swim, this spring’s goodwill mega-hit, co-produced by Ghostly International and Adult Swim. The trio make a triumphant return to Moodgadget for The Synchronicity Suite.
They are joined by fellow stars, Wisp, Small Sails, Benoit Pioulard and an extraordinary new cast, including pop sensation D. Gookin, experimental rockers Brael, and lo-fi piano virtuoso Praveen (courtesy of the Music Related label). 19 artists in all work in synchronicity over 80 pulse-pounding minutes to expose the diversity in electronic music. Are you ready to Synchronize?
(available May 27th exclusively thru iTunes, June 10th everywhere)
We would like to congratulate Small Sails on this commercial, nice work friends! Somnambulist will be available as the first track on The Synchronicity Suite May 27th on iTunes.
