Bouquet

Take an unknown songwriter from Milford, Michigan, a sleepy suburbia far from Detroit's Rock & Roll scene, add thirty-nine months of funerals & Teen Vogue back issues and here comes "Bouquet" - the anticipated debut by 800beloved. With it's gloomy beginnings having been recorded in a funeral home, the album has conjured the affections and blogging of both Twilight obsessed teenagers and post-punk devotees.

Sean Lynch, the lyricist, singer, songwriter and producer behind 800beloved, discovered early on the difficulties of a thematic marriage between his day job of working at a funeral home with his interest in the glitter of pop & youth culture. Still, 800beloved's very name (taken from a seven digit toll-free number) and elegant eleven song debut, hint that within distant themes - ranging from your first kiss to a sleepover at the morgue, Lynch may have found repose in a rosy pair of Ray-Bans while crooning of life's graver gravity.

Host to numerous contributors since the project's beginning in September 2005, the current incarnation of the group, Anastasiya Metesheva, Jonny Elkas, Courtney Vaquera and Lynch, performs selectively throughout the Midwest.
